A SURE BALANCE

In a season where so many things are uncertain, its important that we don't confuse faith with wishful thinking. We find hope and comfort in the word, but we find balance there too! God's promises are balanced with process. Having intimacy with Him is balanced by our willingness to be vulnerable and authentic. God Himself who is Judge is also Love...balance! God told Naaman to dip in the Jordan 7 times and he would be healed. If you go to the Jordan river today that may not work for you! This was the method God used to express His ways to/for Naaman. When we confuse methods for mandates, we end up doing something that never originated from God. Then we are frustrated because we don't receive the desired result. The consequences, especially in the time we are living, can be deadly. It is my prayer that we hear what God is saying this season. That our relationship with Him is strengthened and we come to know His ways. Then our methods will be birthed out of faith and not wishful thinking.
